Brutkó Diszkó

Cruisinig Bars

CoXx Club

Address: 7th district, Dohányu. 38.
Open: Sun-Thu 21-04, Fri-Sat 21-05

It’s really big and really well-equipped (dark room, prison area, sling room, glory holes etc), theme parties on Saturdays.

Thermal baths and saunas

Rudas bath (Turkish bath)

our recommendation
Address: 1st. district, Döbrentei tér 9.
Open: Opening time of the thermal bath area:
Mon-Wed-Thu-Fri men’s days 6-20,
Tuesday women’s day 6-20,
Saturday, Sunday mixed days 6-17,
Friday, Saturday mixed nights 22-04.

A visit to Rudas is worth it just to lie in the main pool, under a domed roof built by the Turks in the 1560‘s during their long occupation of Hungary. In earlier times the bath was exclusively for men, in the Turkish tradition. Nowadays it is shared - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are men only days. Tuesdays are for women only, while the weekends are mixed. It might be a men-only environment but this is not a gay-friendly place! When you enter you can get a little apron, a strange form of modesty. Rudas has a lot of gay customers, but be discrete.

Sauna 69

Address: Angyal utca 2., District 9.

A more conventional sauna. Finish, infra sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, massage service. Private rooms also available. Towel, sleepers included.

Magnum Sauna

Address: District 8, 2 Csepreghy utca

Magnum is your gay sauna in Budapest with everything you need to relax and meet other guys: steam, sauna, cabins, gym, and a whole lot more.
